Miles Toyota is more than just your local Toyota customer centre. We know that working within our community will make a difference, making a better tomorrow start today. We have always enjoyed supporting our local community, and have an on-going relationship with a number of local non-profit organisations.
We proudly support local organisations that are trying to make a difference in our community, including organisations such as those listed below.
Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House South Island Trust is an independent registered charitable trust established to help and support South Island children and their families.
The Trust is managed by a voluntary Board of Trustees, a small staff and many volunteers.
"Miles Toyota has been a fervent support of Ronald McDonald House South Island since the first day we opened our doors. Thanks to their generosity, such as sponsoring our ‘Cloud Mobile’ and one of the rooms at Ronald McDonald House each year, we have been able to support many more South Island families, whose worlds have been turned upside down by childhood injury and illness.
Over the years, we’ve come to consider the team at Miles Toyota as more than supporters - rather, they’re family. They’re the ones we can invariably turn to when we need a team to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into a task, whether it be helping with a fundraiser or volunteering as part of our Family Dinner Programme.
From all of our hearts and those of the numerous families which you have helped - thank you!"

The Miles Toyota Stand at AMI Stadium
Through the 'Miles Toyota Stand' at AMI Stadium, our aim is to support local events and make possible healthy activities for our local community. We're proud to be involved with the Christchurch Stadium Trust in the pursuit of encouraging healthy activities for our younger generations!
The 'south stand' is a covered area that seats a number of spectators as well as team coaches and the media.
The Christchurch Airport Marathon
Inspired by the 1974 Commonwealth Games marathon, the Christchurch Airport Marathon event is renowned as one of the fastest courses in the world. But it is also one of the most scenic and supportive.
In the interests of supporting healthy activities in our community, we're very happy to sponsor each year's Christchurch Airport Marathon.
Further Community Support
Rangiora High First XV Rugby
Miles Toyota believes in helping to encourage healthy sport activity amongst Christchurch youth.
That's why we're proud to get behind great teams such as the Rangiora First XV rugby team and their rugby club.
The rugby club has 6 competitive rugby sides and a player development academy alongside its 1st XV.
Miles Toyota is happy to support Rutherford's Den, a charitable trust that seeks to honour Sir Ernest Rutherford's achievements and life work.
While the 'Den' itself sadly closed following the Christchurch earthquake, the learning experience continues elsewhere through classroom programmes in schools throughout Canterbury.
We're excited to be part of this educational wonder and to help the trust stay mobile we've provided Rutherford's Den with the use of a Hiace ZL diesel.
The Volunteer Army Foundation
The Volunteer Army Foundation (VAF) exists to promote, support and facilitate youth engagement.
VAF was created by the people who started and led the Student Volunteer Army (SVA) in response to the devastating 2010-11 Christchurch Earthquakes. They specialise in getting young people to show up and care.
